Our Prayer and Liturgy

Prayer and liturgy is central to our school.  Each week there are many opportunities to share in prayer and liturgy.  Our school week begins with a whole school Gospel assembly, based on the Sunday Gospel. Children have an opportunity to reflect on our 'Going forth' message in our class reflection journals. Teachers lead a prayer and liturgy session within their own classrooms on a weekly .  Each class then plans its own prayer and liturgy session to be shared that week as a class.  Fr Michael or Fr Ramesh join us in school to share Holy Mass for the whole school, on a fortnightly basis.  Mrs Walsh leads us in our 'Gifts from God' assembly on alternative weeks, where we celebrate the gifts and talents God gave us all.

All classes share prayer times throughout each school day . Each class has its own prayer book which is shared with parents and families.  Each class also has its own prayer bag and family prayer journal which is taken home weekly by a member of each class.

Our School Prayer

Our School Prayer was written by the children of our school and we are proud to say it as part of our acts of worship.

Dear Lord,

Thank you for all of the things you have given us -  our families, our friends, our school and everyone who works and learns with us.

Thank you for giving us the gift of being able to help others.

Bless us all as we listen, learn and grow with Jesus.

Amen.

Holy Mass
