Primary School Admissions
You need to apply for September 2025 if your child's fifth birthday is between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021 for a place at first, infant or primary school.
Applications close on January 15th 2025. National offers day is 16th April 2025 - all parents will receive their Primary School offer on that date.

Mid Year Applications
If you want to apply to change schools during the academic year, or your child does not currently have a school place, please see the information on in-year admissions.
In-Year Applications
An application can be made for a place for a child at any time outside the admission round and the child will be admitted where there are available places. An application should be made to the school by completing the in-year admissions application form which is available from our school office or by requesting a copy by emailing enquiries@st-elizabeths.staffs.sch.uk
Completed application forms must be returned to the school office at St Elizabeth’s Catholic Primary School, Claremont Road, Tamworth, Staffs, B79 8EN.
Where there are places available but more applications than places, the published over subscription criteria, as set out in the admission arrangements for 2023/24 will be applied. The full admission arrangements can be accessed at www.st-elizabeths.co.uk/our-school/admissions or by contacting the school office to request a hard copy. Parents are advised to read the admission arrangements carefully before making their application.
If there are no places available, the child will be added to the waiting list and further information relating to this will be included in the letter sent from the school advising you of the outcome of your application. Please see the admission arrangements for more details.
You will be advised of the outcome of your application in writing as soon as possible. Applicants must be informed of the outcome of their application within 15 school days of its receipt, but the aim is to notify applicants of the outcome of their application within 10 school days of its receipt.
You have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel if your application is unsuccessful.

Secondary School Admissions
Applications to secondary schools (for Children in Year 6) can be made from 1st September 2024 and the closing date for applications is the 31 October 2024. The quickest way to make an application is to apply online - a link to the Staffordshire County Council website 'Admissions Page' is below for your assistance.
Parents will receive a personalised letter from school in the first week of the academic year with further details about the process.
Secondary School - Apply On-line
Appeals
